IF THIS IS A MEDICAL EMERGENCY OR CRISIS SITUATION, CALL 911 OR YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY SERVICE IMMEDIATELY. QuickAdvice does not provide emergency services.

QuickAdvice ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Rolling Innovations, LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Oklahoma. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the QuickAdvice mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Device Identifier: We automatically generate and store an anonymous device identifier (UUID) on your device when you first open the app. This identifier is used solely to track your free question usage and subscription status. It is not linked to your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.

Questions and Answers (Keep My History mode only): If you choose "Keep My History" mode, the questions you ask and the answers you receive are stored in our secure database. This allows you to refer back to past guidance at any time.

Anonymous Mode: If you choose "Remain Anonymous" mode, the content of your questions and answers is never stored. Only non-identifying metadata is recorded (expert category selected, timestamp, urgency level, and whether the question was free or paid) for operational purposes. If you explicitly save an answer while in Anonymous Mode, the content of that answer is stored and marked as anonymously saved.

Usage Data: We track how many free questions you have used in the current month to enforce the free tier limit. This data is tied to your device identifier only.

Feedback Data: If you respond to the optional in-app feedback prompt, your response (yes or no) is stored along with your device identifier and the associated question identifier.

Subscription and Billing Data: We record subscription status, subscription start date, and subscription events (subscribe, renew, cancel, expire) in our database. All payment processing is handled by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store payment card information.

Crisis Detection Data: When our safety detection system identifies crisis language in a question, we record that a crisis was detected (crisis_triggered = true) associated with the question record. No additional personal information is collected in these instances.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

3. AI-Generated Responses and Third-Party Processing

Your questions are transmitted to Anthropic's Claude AI model via a secure server-side function to generate responses. By using QuickAdvice, you agree that your question content may be processed by Anthropic's API. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their handling of this data.

Our backend infrastructure is provided by Supabase. Your data is stored on Supabase's secure, SOC 2 compliant servers. Supabase's privacy policy governs their handling of infrastructure data.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your question content with any third party other than Anthropic for the purpose of generating AI responses.

4. AI Accuracy and Limitations

AI-generated responses from QuickAdvice, like all AI systems, are susceptible to inaccuracies, incompleteness, and errors, including hallucinations. You must not rely on factual assertions in AI-generated responses without independent verification. You must not rely on AI-generated guidance as a substitute for advice from a licensed professional. This applies especially to health, medication, legal, and financial guidance.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a SOC 2 compliant database provider. All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. We implement industry-standard security measures including row-level security policies on all database tables to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. Despite these measures, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as fully secure.

6. Data Retention

If you use Keep My History mode, your questions and answers are retained until you delete them via Settings → Clear My History, or until you submit a deletion request as described below. In Anonymous Mode, no question content is stored by default. Your device identifier and usage metadata are retained for as long as your app is installed to support free tier tracking and subscription verification.

7. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

Please note that certain non-identifying metadata (such as anonymous usage counts) may be retained even after a deletion request for operational and safety monitoring purposes.

8. In-App Purchases

All payments are processed through Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase. We do not collect or store your payment card information. Subscription management is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Rolling Innovations, LLC is not responsible for payment processing errors or disputes, which should be directed to Google Play or Apple support.

9. Children's Privacy

QuickAdvice is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at rollinginnovationsus@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

10. Crisis and Safety Monitoring

QuickAdvice includes automated safety detection that identifies crisis language and connects users with emergency resources. We monitor aggregate crisis trigger rates for safety improvement purposes. We are not obligated to report individual user activity to authorities, and we do not provide real-time crisis monitoring services. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
